Privacy policy
Last updated October 4, 2026. This policy covers the Saturday Night Revels website at snrvip.com and the SNR pass and texting programs. Saturday Night Revels is the trading name of SNR-VIP LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company at 6531 Marshall Foch Street, New Orleans, LA 70124. In the rest of this page, "SNR", "we" and "us" mean that company.
What we collect
When a promoter invites you: the Instagram account handle the invitation was sent to, and which promoter sent it.
When you claim a pass, we ask you for:
- Your first and last name.
- Your mobile number. It is required to claim a pass: one number, one guest. We do not check it and we do not text it today. If you ticked the box for pass texts, it is the number we will text your pass to once we switch texting on.
- Which of the two text boxes you ticked, if any: one for your pass, one for news about upcoming events. Both start unticked, and your pass appears either way.
- Your birthday as a month and day only, if you choose to give it, so we can wish you a happy birthday. We never ask for the year.
When someone books a VIP party with you as the host: the staff member booking it may enter your first name and mobile number. We use them to find or create your record. We do not text that number. A promoter who books your party does not see your number again; a venue's owner and its managers can, as part of your guest record.
When you join a party's list from its link: your first and last name, your mobile number, and your birthday as a month and day if you choose to give it. We do not check that number and we do not text it. That form has no texting checkbox, so joining never signs you up for texts. We also keep which party you joined, which staff member booked it (they are credited with bringing you), and the IP address you joined from, as part of our record of the join.
If you text us: if you reply STOP, START or HELP (or a word that means the same, such as UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL or INFO), we record that word, your number and the time so we can honor it. We do not store any other reply.
When you make an account: your first and last name, your mobile number, a 6-digit passcode you choose, and which of the two texting checkboxes you ticked, if any. We text a one-time code to that number to check it is yours, when you make the account and when you reset your passcode. We keep the passcode only in scrambled form, so nobody at SNR can read it. After five wrong passcodes your account locks until you reset it with a texted code. When you sign in, we keep the time, your IP address and your browser with that sign-in. On your account page you can change your name, add your birthday as a month and day, and add your Instagram handle; a handle you type is shown as unverified, because we do not check it yet.
When you ask us to book your list: the venue, night and occasion you picked, when you asked, and what became of the request. It goes to the staff member who booked your last party, if they can book at that venue, and otherwise to that venue's owner and managers. We do not text anyone about it.
If you invite a friend: your account page has a link you can share. When someone makes an account through it with a number we did not already have, we record who invited whom. Neither of you sees the other's number.
If you request a song: on a night you have come through the door, you can ask the DJ for up to 3 songs on the live page. We keep the title you typed, your account, the venue, the night, when you asked, and whether the DJ took it. Other guests never see who asked for a song; a song the DJ accepts shows on the live page and the venue's screens by its title alone.
As you use SNR: when your pass was created, when you opened it, when you claimed it, and when venue staff scanned it at the door or at the cashier. If you host a party that reaches the venue's number of arrived guests, you earn a free entry there. Where a venue turns them on, you also earn one for coming on several nights in a month, for every so many nights you come, or when a friend you invited comes for the first time. On a night a venue runs a party challenge, the host of the party with the most arrived guests earns one too, and, if the venue chose so, everyone on that party's list who arrived; on a night a venue sets a goal and reaches it by its deadline, everyone who arrived by the deadline earns one. We keep the venue, what earned it, and when it was used or taken back.
If you turn on notifications: on your account page you can turn on notifications for the phone or browser you are using. We keep the delivery address your browser gives us for that device, with your account and the time you turned them on, and nothing else about the device. We also keep whether you want reminders, and a record of each reminder that was due to you: which kind, the party or venue it was about, when, and whether it was sent. Notifications are not text messages. If the push service tells us an address no longer works, we delete it.
Automatically: your IP address when you submit the claim form or ask for a code, kept only as a counter so one address cannot claim passes or ask for codes in bulk and never attached to your record; and the IP address, browser and exact wording at the moment you tick each box, kept as the record of that agreement.
What we do not collect
We do not ask your age, we do not store a birth year and we do not run drink promotions of any kind through SNR. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics beacons or any third-party script on any page.
How we use it
- To create and deliver your pass, and to verify it at the door.
- To check your mobile number with a one-time code when you make an account or reset your passcode, and to let you sign in.
- To wish you a happy birthday, to show a birthday-month note on your account page, and to show your birthday to the staff member who has brought you to a venue at least twice in the last year, if you gave us the month and day.
- To pass your request to book your list to the staff who can book it, and to show you whether it was booked.
- To show the DJ the songs guests ask for, and to show you whether yours is coming up.
- To send the notifications you turned on: when your party unlocks upstairs, when you earn a free entry, when a party you asked for is booked, on the day of a party you host, how many have joined, when you have not been in for three weeks and a night is coming up at the venue you last visited, and, on a night you have come through the door, when a moment such as a line dance is starting or the venue sends a message to the room. The two reminders can be turned off on their own.
- To text you your pass and occasional messages about upcoming events — only once we switch texting on, and each only if you ticked its box.
- To keep a record of which promoter or friend invited you and which events you attended.
- To detect and prevent duplicate or fraudulent use of passes.
- To meet our legal obligations, including keeping records of consent.
Text messages
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We do not sell your phone number. We do not share your phone number, or the fact that you agreed to receive text messages, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your agreement to receive text messages from us is used only to send you messages from Saturday Night Revels.
Apart from automatic replies to STOP and HELP, the only texts we send today are one-time codes, each sent because you asked for it when making an account or resetting your passcode. Other texts are sent only once we switch texting on, and only to guests who ticked a box, and only what that box covers. Nothing is sent when you claim a pass: your pass appears on screen right away.
There are two boxes, one for your pass and one for news about upcoming events. They are separate choices, and neither is ever ticked for you. We use a messaging provider, Twilio, to deliver texts on our behalf, including the one-time codes. That provider will process your number solely to deliver our messages and may not use it for any other purpose.
Once texting is on, each program you join sends up to 4 messages a month: pass texts when you claim a pass, and news texts about upcoming events. We don't charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
Once texting is on, you can stop at any time by replying STOP to any message. We'll send one confirmation and then stop. Once texting is on, replying HELP to any message will return our contact information; email hello@snrvip.com at any time. Our SMS terms describe the program in full.
Who else sees your information
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who run SNR for us — our cloud hosting provider, and our messaging provider, which delivers one-time codes today and other texts once we switch texting on. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Your browser's push service — run by the company behind your phone or browser, such as Apple, Google or Mozilla — delivers the notifications you turn on. Each one reaches it scrambled, so it cannot read it, and no notification carries your phone number, your last name or your handle.
- Venue staff, by role. Door staff and cashiers see your first name, the offer on your pass and any free entry you hold at that venue, so they can admit you; they do not see your phone number, your last name, your handle or your birthday. The promoter who invited you sees the guests they invited, without phone numbers. A staff member who has brought you to a venue at least twice in the last year sees your first and last name and your birthday's month and day when it is this month or next. A staff member handling your request to book your list sees your first name, your Instagram handle, the night and the occasion, and never your phone number. A venue's owner and its managers see the full record — name, Instagram handle, mobile number, birthday, your passes to their venues and your rewards there — of every guest who holds a pass to an event at a venue they own or manage, or who was invited by a promoter who works at one, or added as a party host by someone who works at one.
- Your party's host. If you join a party's list, its host sees your first name and whether you have arrived on the night — never your number, your last name, your handle or your birthday.
- Everyone on the live page and the venue's screens. If a party's host turns it on, the live page and the venue's screens show the party's name when 10, 25 and 50 of its guests have arrived and when it unlocks upstairs — the party's name may include its host's first name, and never shows any other guest's name. On a night with a party challenge, they also show how many guests have arrived for the three parties in the lead, each by name only if its host turned this on and otherwise as "Another Party", and, when the challenge ends, the winning party's name on the same terms. On a night with a goal, they show the goal, its deadline and how many guests have arrived: a number, never a name. Venue staff see each requested song's title and how many guests asked for it, never who; a song the DJ accepts shows on the live page and the venue's screens by its title alone.
- Law enforcement or others, when we're legally required to, or to protect the safety of guests or staff.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your record and event history while you remain in our guest list. If 24 months pass with no visit and no sign-in, we erase your name, mobile number, birthday, Instagram handle and passcode, sign you out and turn off your notifications; your past visits stay only as anonymous totals, and if you come back with the same number you start a new record. People who work for SNR or a venue are not erased this way. Records of your agreement to receive messages, with the number you gave, and of any request to stop, are kept for at least four years because the law expects us to be able to show them. Our security log of sign-ins and changes made in SNR is kept; it can include the last four digits of your number and your IP address.
Your choices
- Stop text messages: once texting is on, reply STOP to any message; at any time, email us.
- Turn off notifications: on your account page, which deletes that device's delivery address, or in your phone's or browser's settings.
- Turn off reminders: on your account page; your other notifications still come.
- See what we have about you: email us and we'll send you a copy.
- Correct or delete your information: change your name, birthday or handle on your account page, or email us. You can ask us to delete your account from that page or by email; we record the request and when you made it, and when we act on it we erase your account as described above. Consent and STOP records tied to legal obligations are kept.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we'll honor them.
Security
Information is stored on encrypted servers with access limited to authorized staff by role. Promoters and door staff cannot see phone numbers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. A material change to how we text you is announced before it takes effect, and we ask again before texting you for any new purpose.
